Bajaj Auto, the renowned Indian two-wheeler manufacturer, has unveiled the upgraded 2024 variant of its Chetak Premium electric scooter. Priced at Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom), the latest iteration comes with a host of new features, further solidifying its position in the electric vehicle (EV) market.

Following the successful launch of the more affordable Urbane variant in the previous year, Bajaj has now elevated the Chetak Premium to a new level. Despite the price increase of Rs 15,000 compared to its predecessor, the 2024 Premium variant promises an enhanced riding experience and additional technological advancements.

One of the standout features of the updated Chetak Premium is the introduction of a 5-inch TFT (Thin Film Transistor) dash. This modern display not only adds a touch of sophistication to the scooter but also brings it on par with other EVs in the market. The TFT dash allows users to pair their smartphones, offering access to navigation updates, notification alerts, and music playback. However, it’s worth noting that these features, along with sequential indicators and the Sport riding mode, are exclusively available with the optional Rs 9,000 TecPac.

The TecPac, which is an additional accessory, unlocks a range of advanced features, making the Chetak Premium even more versatile for tech-savvy riders. This optional package enhances the scooter’s connectivity, ensuring a seamless integration with the rider’s smartphone for a more interactive experience.

Continuing the legacy of the earlier model, the 2024 Chetak Premium retains features like hill hold assist, keyless ignition, and a reverse mode. These additions contribute to the overall convenience and safety of the rider, making the Chetak Premium a comprehensive package in the electric scooter segment.

Bajaj’s commitment to staying at the forefront of EV technology is evident in the continuous upgrades to the Chetak lineup. The 2024 Premium variant not only maintains the brand’s reputation for reliability but also introduces cutting-edge features to meet the evolving needs of the modern rider.

The 2024 Bajaj Chetak Premium is now available at Bajaj dealerships across the country, and enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to experience the latest advancements in electric mobility.
